Ross Memorial Hospital hosted a "Welcome Home" celebration for the official opening of their new dialysis unit today (Aug. 28).
Because so many local patients have had to drive to Peterborough and beyond for dialysis treatments previously, dialysis unit staff, wanted to celebrate the convenience and practicality of bringing this vital service to Lindsay.
Jim Young, of the Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, got the pleasure of announcing to the crowd that the long-standing fundraising goal of $2.2 million dollars has been surpassed in the 'On the Horizon' campaign.
