Dave McLeod, Walter Johnstone and Beau Dixon promote a new CD titled Home for Christmas. The album includes music from 50 local musicians and is being sold to raise money for the Youth Emergency Shelter.

The auction, featuring one-of-a-kind items, is at Jake's Neighbourhood Grill tonight (Nov. 19) at 6 p.m. Items include a Mike Weir autographed US Open golf bag and a Chris Bosh autographed basketball. Tickets for the auction are available at the door and cost $30 which includes dinner.

Peterborough Petes' Jack Walchessen lands a left punch to the throat of Kitchener Rangers' Kevin Hudes during OHL action Thursday (Nov. 13) at the Memorial Centre. The Rangers ran over the Petes via a 6-2 score, while on Friday (Nov. 14) the locals bounced back with a 4-3 shootout win in Kingston. Back on home ice Saturday (Nov. 15) the IceDogs defeated the Petes 6-2. The Petes' record stands at 10 wins, 13 losses and one shootout loss, heading into tonight's (Wednesday) game versus the Barrie Colts.
